BIG OOPS

Well Big Ooops, it  has really been ages since I started this page and put anything resembling a post on......naughty girl that I am! Except its been many a year since I was a girl! LOL

My craft area has moved from the front room to the conservatory, then the dining table, and now I have the alcove in the front room back again! .......BUT.......I am finally going to take over my darling youngest daughter's bedroom. Well after 2 years of living in China and studying and teaching and spending lots and lots of time with her lovely partner Dave, I don't think she is coming home to live with her mumsey anytime soon.

Over the Easter break - I am Free, so will be organising and giving orders to my lovely Richard while he very kindly moves furniture and my precious Black Cat to its new home!

I love Cutting duck shapes!

I love using my lovely Puddy Cat to cut shapes! I have been doing lots of practise this week and thanks to Penny Duncan I have some lovely shapes to cut.

As for the Ducks.............I have a beautiful little niece called Charlotte who is almost  a year old, and she loves her ducks, so today I was cutting different sized ducks out of bright yellow card ready for her arrival. The cougar was busy cutting a third batch of ducks when she arrived with her grandpa and grandma (my mum and dad), so while she was sitting on my knee we watched as her ducks were created! She was so excited when her ducks 'hatched' from the mat. 3 little ducks ended up very soggy and chewed around the edges, the rest.....about 8 or 9 have gone back to grandmas to have eyes drawn on them ready to go up on her bedroom wall.

I have to do a birthday card for her ready for the 25th August..............guess what will be on it?

Puddy Kat Arrived

Well my lovely Puddy Cat is here....... LOL
I am getting to grips with the software...........with only one or two, or is it 10 or 20 hiccups along the way!
Good job Dawn and the rest of the lovely peeps on the Black Cat forum are there when I get one of my hiccups LOL
So far I have cut circles, squares, ovals and I actually cut a swirly heart shape! I'm using up some scrap papers and card for the practise cuts, hopefully before long I will feel ready to use my best card and papers :-) till then I have a good excuse to practise practise and practise again! LOL

Not long to go now! If I knew how many hours till the courier arrives I could do a countdown! LOL

Oh boy is this scary!
